Restaurant Gallery Project Final first year project

This was my final project in my first year at Ravensbourne. The aim was to design a Restaurant with a gallery incorporated into it. I decided to go down the route of designing a restaurant that featured a cat walk and a rent out incubation studio space.

The incubation space would be upstairs on the 1st floor of the space whilst the catwalk is situated downstairs. The idea is that at times when the catwalk is in use, the table which flows through the the design, and becomes the handrail for the stairs can be used as a place for models to parade up and down through the space. The 1st floor will be used to allow the models to be made ready.

The idea of the parametric roofing was that it becomes a clear way to cover up all of the services and lights that are needed for the restaurant and the kitchen. It also becomes an interesting way to let light into the space.

The images uploaded are only preliminary renders. I will be re-rendering the design and re-photoshopping it all.
