The Rejuvenation of Plumbridge Street, Greenwich

Plumbridge Street, SE10 8PA, currently is a dead road with little need for anyone to travel down. To help create hype and to try and rejuvenate the street a series of visuals were made to give the potential of what the street could look like in the future. This weekend (10/11 December) the street will be closed off to become a Christmas Market offering mulled wine, gifts and ideas, mince pies and the option for locals to provide  their voice and opinion of what they would like to see in Plumbridge Street. With working with Greenwich Council, the initial feel that was wanted to be achieved was to bring in young artists and designers, offering low cost studio space and galleries, to bring in a more healthy feel with organic food shops, a doctor's surgery, therapists and massage parlours as well as incorporating social spaces for local residents to be  able to come to. The project was given as a freelance project to Studio6 and carried out by Christopher Hall, Katherine Ball, Jim Siederer and Mehul Parbat.
